Easter is a fantastic time of the year. It is a reminder of the greatest gift of all, our salvation. I think at times we become complacent and blase about what Jesus actually did for us.
I don't know about you, but sometimes, I forget that He died for me, I forget that His actions were for me, for my benefit, that I could have eternal life, that I could be free. Sometimes, even though I know the message, I have this tendency to believe that this selfless act was for everyone else and I'm just tagging along. It is important that I continually remind myself, that Jesus gave his life for me. 1 Peter 3.18 Christ died once for all...to bring you to God. NIV
